Any real world Mileage reports on the 2011's?

2011 Lariat 6.2L 3:73, factory 18" tires/wheels, not lifted or leveled, driven like it's rented:
12-12.5 MPG City
16-17 MPG Hwy
Engine sounds too good to keep my foot out of it. It makes me smile every time I accelerate, although at a price.

that is bone stock the mileage with just cap and about 850lbs is 19litres per 100km tranny is horrible and to do any work with this i have to add in 2 extra leaf springs on either side we have an old dodge ram 1/2 ton at the shop that will safely carry way more than my new f 150 very dissapointed with the quality and workability im at 9800km and the tranny sometimes when i put it in drive it revs but does not move then when i let off it will slam into drive our old 92 was much better

Were you pulling anything or have larger tires? My 6.2 is pretty consistently gets 16.5 on the hwy. Of course I'm assuming that you weren't driving around town all day!

I have had my 2011 Screw with the 3.7L, 3.73 posi rear, for about 3 months (Dec 11). Only have 1300 miles on it but the gas mileage so far is horrible. Around town with stop lights, traffic, etc I get less than 14. Regular highway not even 18. On a test trip of about 100 miles all interstate I managed 18.2. I don't granny the engine but then I do try and keep it below 2k rpms shifting whenever I can. Merging on to interstate I do have to give it some gas. I don't know where these folks come up with these high figures they are getting. Maybe the 3.73 posi is having a big effect? It shouldn't. Folks at Ford say it will get better after 3k miles. Somehow I doubt it. Seems hard to find many with the 3.7's listing real mileage on this forum. Maybe they are being pulled off.
10,410 miles
19.1 MPG Overall
Highway - 22 to 23 at 65 to 75
City - 16 to 19, constant suburban red light 9th ring of Dante's inferno.
Observations - Red Lights really destroy this truck's mileage. Not only is there the energy of stopping 5,500 lbs and re accelerating it to speed, the idle fuel consumption adds up too. From what I read this engine enters a low power Atkinson Cycle at idle. If true, that mode does not do much. I had also read that Ford considered an idle stop / start feature, but the Federal Regulators provide no credit for the savings under the rules this truck was certified under and there was a lot of extra wear and tear on the starter, pinion and flywheel.
Real world around my sub-urban traffic hell of Atlanta would be improved by at least 10 to 15% with an idle stop feature.
