Just an update,
I ended up haveing them remove the Viper,
along with the original 3 compaints

#1 =when using the Viper remote start the heated seats don't come on (it's 11 degrees with a wind chill of 2)

#2= when using the viper ,the head lights come on ( when You use the ford fob just the running lights come on which I like)
#3 =when using Viper ,the Memory seat ,steering wheel and pedals don't go to my settings . I have to press the #1 on the side of the seat.
#4=If the truck is armed with viper and you use the keypad on the door it sets the alarm off
#5 =if you press Disarm for any reason the Sony with NAV will come on for 10-15 mins
It was just to many issues
Now checking out the upgraded Ford start with shock alarm

like I said I think they they installed it wrong, what did they say about that when you asked them? The lights coming on is normal (if it is dark and you have your switch on auto) as after market remote starts act like you started it with the key so the fact that your seat memory setting didn't work means they had something screwed up. Also using they keypad to open the door setting off the alarm would be normal as it would bypass the disarm code for the alarm. Not sure if they can link keypad to disarm alarm or not, but they should be able to answer that question. I think you just had too high of expectations and a dumbass installer cause your complaints that aren't normal behavior sound pretty jankey like they used wing wires or something. Hope the factory short range start works good enough for you but if you want an alarm you are probably going to have to carry two key fabs around now.
