Default Any one with the Viper 5904

I just had the viper 5904 installed today in a 2012 F150 SC Platinum
before purchasing I asked if I will lose any factory functions and was told NO
But here's what I have

#1 =when using the Viper remote start the heated seats don't come on (it's 11 degrees with a wind chill of 2)

#2= when using the viper ,the head lights come on ( when You use the ford fob just the running lights come on which I like)
#3 =when using Viper ,the Memory seat ,steering wheel and pedals don't go to my settings . I have to press the #1 on the side of the seat.

is all this just a setting in the remote ?
If it not just a setting I will have it removed and just stick with the factory ford one

I think the viper is only gonna start your truck

Nothing else

I think you'll need the ford remote start to automatically enable the other features

It should be able to have your seat right and possibly turn on the seat heat, talk to the installer. I have an astro start and when I start the truck it's just like starting with the key, my seat goes in(I have ready exit enabled where it moves back when I pull the key and forward when insert it) the lights come on if it's dark cause my switch is on auto, radio comes on, etc. If your seat doesn't work and your lights come on when it's not dark he probably used the wrong wires.

Maybe talk to a different installer cause whoever did yours aint that smart, unless I'm way off, but I thought viper was semi top end.

Yes I also have the EXIT ENABLE,and when I take the key out it all goes in (no problem),But I don't like having to adjust when I start it.
What I'm referring to with the lights is,,,
When you start with the Ford fob (day or night) the running lights come on,(No problem)
When I start with the Viper the Headlights come on,(don't like that at all)
I'll definitely be talking to them tomorrow ,I'm just trying to get a better understanding on whats happening before I do

Well the seat should be moving in when it starts at the very least, kinda defeats the easy entry feature though, and why do you care about the lights?

I installed a 5704 myself. There are accessory outputs that can be programmed to turn on the heated seats and memory. You'd have to have it programmed to not work in the summer though. The factory RS triggers the heated seats if it's below 40°F, I believe.

I think the Viper system is well worth dealing with the other minor issues. Much farther range, LCD to let you know that your truck started or not, see truck's interior temp, etc.
