Any Lariat owners with the 40-20-40 front bench?
I'd love to see some pics and hear your thoughts on the Lariat split front bench. I know you lose the cooled seating option, but apart from that, how's the comfort? Leather quality/durability?

Five-0 Ret.
A friend has the 40/20/40 in his '10 Lariat. It's holding up nicely. You shouldn't have any issues with the leather. The driver/passinger seats are the same, there's just a jump seat in the middle instead of a console.

I've got one - only had the truck a month or so so can't speak to durability of the leather: Ford leather is pretty cheap quality so I wouldn't expect mercedes durability out of it.
The seats are surprisingly comfortable - they really are like individual buckets rather than a "bench."
Not having the cooling is a peeve - no reason it couldn't have been done.
Not the best pictures, but hopefully this will help you see the seats - I know when I was shopping online there was nothing I could find and very few lariats are ordered with them so seeing one in person was not possible when I bought mine.

They look great. Ford's done a good job with their leather quality over the past decade. I'm surprised how few people opt for the 40-20-40 front bench configuration; particularly in a SuperCrew. It's so nice to be able to seat 6 passengers in a pinch. For us, it's going to eliminate the need to have a big 2nd vehicle. Right now, we have my 07 F150 Screw and a Honda Odyssey; but now that our twins are older, we're going to eventually unload the Odyssey in favor of a fuel efficient family sedan.

Those aren't bench seats. They're the same bucket seats as the console version. The only difference is the jump seat is in place of the console.
Again, they are bucket seats, not a bench. I don't understand why people are calling it a bench seat. In closing, it isn't a bench seat.
