Default Any Experience With Fuel Wheels?

Who has Fuel wheels on their rig?

I may be in the market for some wheels in the not so distant future and came across a design of theirs that I like.

I had never heard of them. The price seems a little low. Maybe I have just over paid in the past...

Any information would be greatly appreciated! Maybe a picture or two...

I am looking at their D531 Hostage wheel...

Whatever you do, don't go with the chrome. I originally had the chrome 20x12 Fuel Octane (deep) wheels and I went through 3 sets in a year. Mine kept pitting on the inside within months of having them and I keep my truck clean weekly. I ended up finding out from my local 4wheel shop that the chrome plating they are using now days is crap compared to the way it was done years ago. I now have the black 20x12 Fuel Hostage (deep) wheels and I love them. I am actually currently looking into upgrading to the 22x12 wheels instead of the 20's though haha.

Any chrome wheels will be like this, unless they are made in the USA. Welds are the only ones that were made in the US, I believe, and they are crazy expensive and rare since they are no longer made.

I actually have the fuel Hostage D351 on my truck, mine are D351 20x10 01 offset, with a 5in backspacing on 33x12.5R20 terra grapplers! I love the way they look, they stick out passed my wheel wells about ¾ in, just enough to give it a more aggressive stance.
Go take a look at my pictures, i have a few of them on their.

Yeah I agree 100% with you now haha.

Pic of my old 20x12 chrome Fuel Hostage wheels (2nd set) that I had only a month after being mounted and they were already pitting.

I got those replaced with these 20x12 chrome Fuel Hostage wheels before they ended up doing the same thing.

Now I am rocking the 20x12 Fuel Hostage in black. After having these for about 6 months now I will never look back. Powder coat wheels is the way to go in my honest opinion.
