^^^ agreed, I have had 2 lowered trucks and loved both of them, I've also had 7 leveled or lifted vehicles and loved them. My opinion is that a 4x4 should be lifted/leveled and a 2wd should be lowered. Nice work guys!

I've owned my 4x4, and yeah I lifted it too. I have NOTHING against lifting a 4wd, or even some 2wds, but it seems like if you tell a 4x4 owner that you're going to lower your 2wd, and you might as well tell them you're going to paint it pink and cover the interior with glitter... you get the same reaction...
I mean sure there's certain 2wd's that serve their purpose at stock height, like F350's and duallys. Their sole purpose is to haul around extra heavy loads, so the ground clearance in the rear is needed so when the rear squats when there's 2k lbs in the back the rear bumper doesn't drag the asphalt

I believe that all trucks should be 4x4 otherwise its just a big *** car. But I know not everyone needs it or likes it or can afford it so I dont hate on dropped trucks I just dont think I would ever buy a 2wd truck. my .02 cents....... Oh and hes right your FX2 does look pretty sick still especially with the halo lights.

To each his own I guess. I got the 2" drop shackles in the rear and the belltech adjustable struts in the front, its set at 1.5". I don't know why people hate on dropped trucks, it still has the same payload/towing capabilities as a stock/leveled/lifted truck. BTW, how many of you people with lifted trucks actually take their brand new truck off road??
And to the poster regarding "...it's like having a truck without 4x4..." or whatever. Uh, I have a 4x4 and I think I may have only used it once... ever and I probably didn't need to.

I have a 4x4, but I've never needed it and all of my previous f150s were 4x2.

I'm not a fan of lowered trucks. But I will say yours looks great.
I do want to ask.... why do you still have step bars??

I'm with ksmith88us. I'm not a fan of lowered trucks either, especially ones lowered so much that they drag to the ground. Lowered classic trucks, sure. Lowered new-ish DD trucks, no.
But yours looks great. I'd sell the step bars for some extra cash (or invest it back into the truck), but it still looks great. I love that color. Well done!
