I wish there was a real turbo or super charger for it. Only thing I have found is the STS Turbo system which I have little faith in.

That's the problem I'm running into. Just the lack of performance parts or I'm looking in the wrong places.

With my Bully Dog, I am getting 5mpg better in town; haven't put it on a good Hwy run yet. Awesome throttle response. It squeals the the tires from take-off without touching the brake. Plan on Dyno in May/June at the next local truck show.

Since these 4.6's are almost the same design as the ones in the Mustang's couldn't you retrofit a system ment for one.

4.6L 3V here. MBRP Si/So 3" exhaust, FX2 decals removed and some custom vinyls on the rear window. Love mine. Eventually Im gonna get it tuned and add some wheels/tires and a 2.5" level. Also hope to do a retrofit and black out the emblems and tails soon.

Default 4.6 3v with mods

I got a 2010 4.6 screw. 4x4. AFE intake. True dual exhaust with dual in dual out magnaflo. 2" leveling kit. 20s. 295/60 terra grapplers. Painted to match bushwhacker flares. Superchip tuner. Rhino liner. 20% tint all around. Kenwood touchscreen with JL audio sub under back seat. 6000k HIDs. Removed 4x4 decals. Thought about doing an sts turbo kit.. But not too sure I want to spend $8000 on it.. So now thinking of throwing Icon shocks on all around and the camburg A-arm. Overall I am happy with my truck. More power is always nice.. But this truck has and does everything I need.

Ouch.. I believe you would have to know what you were doing. I would rather a direct bolt-on for My truck..

The only difference is the location of the throtle body from what I've seen. So I would think that would have to be custom made. But I'm with you a direct bolt on would be better and in my opinion more reliable than a retro fit

Bully Dog GT. Got it from Mrpositraction on here. I love it. I also got the Roush vent gauge pod and the Bully Dog pod mount. Got it mounted in my AC vent left of Radio/AC controls. Kind of concerned about the Hot/Cold blowing directly on the unit. May block off the air flow of that vent.
