I may give this a try. I hate how tall the stock antennae is... The garage I park in at work is low so I hit every single rafter. I had the craven speed shorty but returned it because the reception was horrible (I think it was 4"). Currently I have a 6" I picked up from Pep-boys. It is better but I still lose reception with a number of stations. My XM is about to expire and I won't pay what they are asking me too, I'm waiting for them to drop the price a little because I know people who are paying way less. So until then I'd like to have my stations back. 19" should do much better than my 6" does now.
