Default Another shorty antennae option

Believe it or not the Harley Davidson shorty antennae works well on the F150. Only $29 and effective.

Boom!™ Audio Shorty AM/FM Antenna

This compact antenna is only 19" tall, and is a stylish change from the Original Equipment whip antenna. The low-profile antenna simplifies covering the bike for storage. Easy-to-install, the Shorty Antenna screws on to the factory antenna mount.

76388-08

MSRP US $29.95

That link takes me to a HD motorcycle web page.....is that what you intended? Do you have a more specific link to the antenna? Thanks!

Great find. I was worried about the shorter version of the stubby because people were saying reception dropped off pretty quick when you reach the outskirt of town. I don't mind reduced reception since I'm in a metro area but I don't want to reduce overall reception any more than necessary. The only complaint I have about the stock one is that it's SO much higher than the height of the truck. I hit my parking garage ceiling at each end on my way up and its scratching the top of the antenna pretty badly (not to mention the CLING sound that gets everyone's attention every time I turn the corner).

Just bought one. Thanks for the lead!!

I had same til it snapped off in car wash. Been using these on the Ultra for years and reception is good. Just throwing alternative out there.

Does anyone actually have one and can give us a review on the actual reception?

I bought one on amazon for like $25 shipped that is about 3" long.

Amazon Amazon

So far works awesome and like the fact it is powdercoated and solid, should outlast the truck.
