Thinking about giving this a go on mine. Couple questions.

How long did you bake them at 250 to be able to pull them apart?

And what did you use to reaseal them?

The directions I seen was 10 minutes, I was nervous and would do about 6 minutes when I started and finally did the 10 minutes and they came apart great. I sealed them back up with black silicone after the reflectors and paint were dry.

I baked a friends headlights the weekend ... He wanted complete black ..
250 for about 15 minutes.. couldn't get them apart .. so back in for 10 and they came apart ..

Second one I put in for 20 at 250 and it came apart ..

Not sure if we did it or not but both headlights had extremely minor spiderweb look in the glass part that was only visible if your were looking for it in the light ..
We cleaned them like crazy before we did it too...
Regardless they came out pretty good
We were both happy

I am also in the process of building mine. Put them in the over at 250 degrees for 10 minutes then pried a little then put them back for 6 minutes and they split. I am still waiting on parts and they're coming out awesome so far. I am glad i decided to retro fit mine.
