Happy thanksgiving...and as such went to my parents house earlier....they live in WAY deep in the woods down a "wait for it"....dirt....then gravel...then crush and run road to their house and the peragon was secure and quiet all the way down and i can promise it's not a smooth ride. I did take a look back just to see if it was shaking and it was virtually nothing moving with the cover.

to make my removal a tad easier, instead of the washers provided, I used some aluminum tubing cut to length so that when i take the frame off, I don't have to keep track of a bunch of washers.

I ran my old truck with that cover and it did suprisingly well. I figured on the farm it would be a tin can back there but I never even knew it was there. Only thing I noticed was I had to make sure to keep the tracks lubricated as it got a bit sticky at times (this is common sense in my mind with anything that has tracks). Overall, great cover. I would have considered it again had I not decided to go with a full cap this time around.

I'm still looking at this cover, and a few others. Could you elaborate on what you love and what you hate about this cover?

Yanks21 -

There has been some feedback from forum members on the question of road noise with our cover and I don't think anyone has reported rattling. Here is one post I just found from a Peragon cover owner:

https://www.f150forum.com/f7/peragon...7/#post1057438

The way our cover is designed, everything is either rubber isolated or has rubber seal pressure on it so the cover stays quiet even on rough roads.

Side note, if you're driving on dirt roads regularly, a tailgate seal kit will make a big difference in how clean the inside of your bed stays! We offer them as an option with our cover for $29 when you order. It seals down the sides and across the bottom to fill the gap between your tailgate and the truck bed.

looks great. I really appreciate the effort you guys put into your trucks. I get nervous putting a nail in the wall, forget the idea of assembling and installing a cover.

I want to get a color matched ARE cover for mine when I get the cash.

Tonneau cover looks great! I have not pulled the trigger on a tonneau cover yet but will be going with the Peragon once I get my bed sprayed with Line-X. A co-worker of mine has a 2012 EB Supercrew with the Peragon and highly recommended it. I contacted the company and spoke with Rodger who was very helpful and answered all my questions. I mentioned I saw a group discount that had expired on this forum and he stated he would be able to work something out with me. I also heard if your a member of this forum and are either EMT, Firefighter or Law Enforcement they will get an accessory for free. Rodger said he would email me the details once he gets off the phone and within 15 minutes I received the email. The reasons why I will go with this cover over others is:

1. Customer Service!
2. Price
3. Quality of Product
4. Customer feedback/reviews

I am by no means affiliated with this company, I am just trying to shed some light on the subject and help others with their decision. I am hoping to order mine within the next few weeks. I can't wait!!

Love the quality and easy of use, the cover slides smooth even after a full year in Chicago winters.

The dislike is by no means in the quality, I'm unhappy with the lost of space in the bed due to the open cover. It takes about 10'' or so which makes my 6.5 bed feel more like a 5.8'', I'm limited on what I can carry.

Still not sure I want to replace it with something different tho.
I did notice that the cover dislikes automatic car washes with high powered dryers! those suckers pushed my panels down about 3'' which freaked me out when I looked back there to see if the water was running down ok.
