Another fitment/leveling question
 

I have a 2013 FX4 Screw. I swapped out the stock wheel for Fuel Offroad boost wheels (20x9). I ran 275/60/20 for a long time with no problem. This time I went with a 305/55/20 (Cooper ATP) and I have rubbing issues on the back. I really like the look of my truck the way it is. I will level if I need to, but would rather not. I will trim if you think that it will be enough (non-aggressive trimming), but I don't want to trim if I'm going to have to go with a level anyhow.

What are your thoughts? Will cutting off the inside 1.5 inches of the fender flare piece be enough?

If it is going to be too much I can still take the tires back and get the smaller size, but as mentioned, I really like the current look.

I'm running that tire on a stock 20" and I don't rub. You didn't list the offset of the fuel wheel and I don't know if it's different than stock but I'm willing to put money on it that thats why it's rubbing.

Of the two choices, (level or trim) I would choose level. I am at the highest setting 2.25" and like I said, no rubbing. A buddy of mine on his 05 has the same wheels and tires I do in the 305/55 size (his truck was why I chose this size tire and level) and he's only at 1.5" with no rubbing.

Zip tie back the inner-panel piece. That's the majority of your rubbing

im running same size on +18 wheels and have no rubbbing now after I zip-tied that inner wheel well plastic piece back. Good luck

I'm running Fuel Boost 20x9 with 20 offset, BFG KO2 305/55/20 & no rubbing or trimming required with a 2' level.
