Question Annoying Chirp

I have a 2010 F150 Lariat 4x4 Crew Cab. In the warmer weather I have noticed an annoying chirping sound when going over bumps. It appears to be coming from the rear passenger side seat. I have taken everything apart on the interior but I can not seem to find the problem. I took the truck to the local ford dealership and they said the sound was coming from the lower corner behind the sub woofer. The area they identified was in a hollow cavity. They said they are unable to fix it. Has anyone had a similar issue and if so how did you fix it.

Thanks in advance!

I had a squeak and it turned out to be my tailgate wasn't 100% closed. Only happened over bumps, one side was fully locked in but the other side wasn't. Could see if that's the cause

Do you by chance have aftermarket running boards? Some of them attached to frame of truck and will rub. When the truck is flexing.

Thanks Guys. I have tried the tailgate option. I even sprayed some white silicon grease around the latches and where the tailgate makes contact with those rubber stops, but no change. I do not have running boards on the truck. I have not looked on the outside of the truck as the noise appears to be coming from the inside, but will look at the exhaust system next.

The chirp seems to be weather dependent. During the really hot days the sound was more apparent than this morning when it was 65 degrees.

I've experienced the same thing, but in my case it comes/came from the area of the left control arm.

I had the same problem with the wife's Mustang. Weather dependent as your truck. Turned out it was the end link on the rear sway bar. May not be anywhere near your problem, but one never knows. Good luck.

So far I have had no luck in finding this sound. I have spent countless hours trying to figure out where it is coming from. While I have tried all different areas of the truck to reproduce the sound, I have been unable to determine it.

Any other ideas would be appreciated.

Thanks

Maybe it could be coming from the leaf spring on the rear right or the shock or the fender well support as it vibrates coming on the downside of the bump? Do you have a bed cover, my rattles some when I go over things?

its coming from the inside or outside? i have a chirp/creak at the front passenger seat belt receiver. i have no real fix. lubing the mount with silicone does nothing.
the only hack I've found to (temporarily) kill the noise is to jam small towels between the console and the seatbelt receiver to prop the receiver in a slightly different position. this works great on some days, not so good on others. I keep having to redo it. it has gotten so bad that if I don't have anything stuffed in there it will chirp and rattle nonstop until I want to kill myself. when I make it go away the truck rides very quiet. that ****ING chirp is the deal breaker between a quiet truck and a loud obnoxious truck.
may be worth trying out to find your chirp, since you originally said it's coming from inside at the rear seat.
