I know you say its a ford OEM part but if F150s didnt come with an available ambient lighting feature, how is it controlled, how does it install? Is there a separate switch? And more info about how you installed the leds under the bed rails. It seems like it offers alot of light in the bed. Where did you dun the wires?

Well the ambient light kit comes with a control n switch button, the button works through the controller to set the different available light colors. I ran to each footwell (2x) front wells. It also comes with two small led for cup holders, I didn't like the way it looked so I ran them to the rear footwells so each one is lit (4). Ran under carpet hiding the wires and controller in the center console front so it's never seen, then ran to any power source.
The bed lights were simple came with switch and positive negative wires, I installe under bed rails with 3m tape that is provided. Then ran the wires by extending them under the truck to the battery. I put the liners into a small hose the length of the truck incase I'm offloading, sand, snow, ect doesn't effect anything and thats it
