Not sure what part # is but there are two different systems that I know of, one that you could order from the factory installed and the other from Ford accessories. The wiring diagram below is for the OEM factory.

I sure wish I had seen this post yesterday before I ordered the accessories kit from Tasca

So, When you say you changed the console, Do you mean the top with the cup holder and ambient lighting switches? Did you use a factory BL3Z-13C788-A module and AL3Z-14A318-A harness, Or the Ford accessories CL8Z-13E700-A kit to run the leds?
If you "did" use the factory module, Did you have to get the BCM reprogrammed to communicate with the module? My concern is, Will the factory ambient module communicate with the FX BCM like it does in a platinum.
Also, Does your brightness switch work?

Same here. I too would like to use all the factory parts for plug and play. I have all the part numbers to do it, But don't know if the module will communicate with the truck. Hopefully 460cobra will have the answer to this.

I just ordered the same parts as you yesterday, Plus a factory Platinum harness AL3Z-14A318-A $37.81(btw this harness includes the center console compartment light) I want to see if I can use it hopefully.
From what I have read on all the forums, Everyone has been using the CL3Z-13E700-AA kit, And splicing the cupholder ring wires to it, And then they use the 2 cup holder leds from the kit in the rear of the console to light up the rear floor area.
Found some good info on how to do this here:

Did You get it working? Any Pictures?

Thanks

Hey mamonti, I want to connect an aftermarket system to the fuse panel. My truck did not come with the AL option but there is a fuse in dock #21 on the panel. Is it alive?

If not, what fuse can I connect my lights so that they will come on when the headlights come on?

It got a wireless remote for whatever reason that fits perfect in the small cubby inside the big cubby in front of the shifter.
Check out k5optimastore.com he has some cupholder LEDs and they fit pretty damn we'll in our f150s. I bought red ones for my fiances optima and installed them then took em out before we traded it in and I'm waiting for it to warm up so I can install em in my truck, gonna need to get another set so I'll have 4 total for both sets of cupholders, as for floor glow I'll probably get some strips and hardware them to either a cig lighter and plug it in in the console or hard wire them with a add a fuse and make a switch for em

I haven't gotten it installed yet. I have been doing alot of research. I want it to be as near factory as possible. I bought the Platinum console top part #AL3Z-15045A76-KB and the accessories lighting kit Part # CL8Z-13E700-AA that I may not use. After researching I found out the dimmer switch won't work with that control module. I am going to order the factory module & harness. I hope it will work.
LGTNROD, Let me know what you figure out. I am going to order the same parts. I don't know if the BCM will work with this setup or not. Does the Platinum harness AL3Z-14A318-A come with the connector to plug into the console cup holder harness. I know I'm going to have a bundle of money in this but that's ok with me, if it will work like the Platinum. I probably should have just bought a Platinum but what's the fun in that if it's already done. Most of the reward for me is figuring it out and doing it.

Here's the thread documenting my process, post 102 has the nuts and bolts for the install. If you read through, I began the integration process using the million mini set from LEDGlow....

There have been a few members to follow the install process and so far I believe they are all happy with the results

Looks good. But I really want the factory lights, switches and the colors. The money doesn't bother me. I know it's going to be a lot.

The Harness is supposed to have the plug that goes to the cup holder. I will know as soon as it gets here. I hear the accessories kit is the same 7 colors as the Platinum. If the factory module doesn't work with my truck, I'll just use the kit. Only downside is the dimmer switch wont work. I'm really hoping the module works. If it does, I'll just use the accessories kit in my Lightning. Cant wait to find out. Like you, I really want this mod to be as factory as possible.
