Aluminum frame. Opinions on this...

I don't think it would be less durable than steel. Maybe harder to repair if damaged. Doubt you could pop a dent out, but you just either replace the pannel or fill it and shoot it. It's not often that you are lucky enough to just be able to pop out a dent in a steel pannel, any way.
I'd like it because it won't rust. After 7 or 8 years, the rockers on my truck were shot.

What year will they start this? I better hurry up and get a 2013 before this happens. Who cares about fuel economy?? It's a truck for crying out loud. If I wanted (or cared about) 30 mpg I would drive a VW.

The article I got to stated 2014 but only F150 not 250 and up. Currently the only gasoline engine available in the f250 is the 6.2 but I am pretty sure the 4.6 triton was the base in years prior. They may well offer a smaller engine and perhaps even smaller rear end in the super duty or equivelant at that time.

Screw the clearcoat, just anodize the whole body.

Naw...there's a type of corrosion called dis-simular metal also...the body panels will make contact with some other type of metal I'm sure...they will have to address that also.

Be the one working with it when/if you got in a wreck.
