I know I really can't answer that. You have a possibility of running into drone, but I won't swear to it. I'd just about guarantee with a flowmaster you would. Flowmaster did almost nothing for me when I was trying to civilize a Roush system.

I know if you have a free flowing air filter even in the stock box it will help with the sound of the volume and some CAI's too. But you could end up with some vibration or extra noise with a aftermarket CAI. I think the shorter a muffler is the louder its going to be. If your muffler is 14" that is a huge improvement over the stock one which I think was 28". I think mine is about 10-12" so real close. If your magna flow is chambered may drone, if not it should definitely be louder. I have a air aid jr CAI, but not currently on the truck because honestly the stock one is really just as good. I just have a dry drop in filter. I bought my CAI just to do the mustang engine cover mod. I took everything off for about a year to resolve the warranty issue with my oblong cylinder bore issue, so I may eventually reinstall some of that stuff, just waiting on my extended warranty to expire. Intakes, bolt ons can easily be changed out though.

You can also get under your truck and measure your stock resonator pipe and when ordering confirm the length in inches so you will know you have the right one.

OK I found my receipt for my delete pipe. I have a 2012 5.0 FX2 2wd 6.5 bed. I got part number 9L3Z-5A212-C This does not have the vibration damper on it. I measured it and it is from the tip of the flange connection to the end of the slip slot end 30.5" or from the neck of the pipe to the end 29.5"

I may have found an additional solution to the ford replacement pipe. I don't believe it's ss though. Rock auto and summit sell intermediate pipes for the 09-10 that appear to be bolt in for $20-40
