Do you mind measuring the one that came with your system? I've sent Borla a message asking them as well. Also, how does your truck sound in comparison to the video above, I know its a crappy phone vid but maybe its enough for you to compare, again, I dont want to lose much volume, just a little off the drone. I really appreciate your guys help!
That's very similar, but mine is 15" long. That could be all ya need, but they sure are proud of it, $196!!! Yowza!!! I understand though, I'd be buying their stuff as well, I hate anything cobbled together. Who knows, maybe if the part numbers line up, I "might" be looking at that shorter resonator.
I couldn't really tell much about your sound, my computer speakers aren't the best.
Please post what you find out from Borla.
Here's a photo of the resonator on mine. It does say Borla on it, but it's turned to the drivers side.

I just came across this thread which would would be a lot cheaper as well as adding the ability to tune it to the frequency I am looking at cancelling. I'll talk to my shop to see their thoughts on a j pipe vs a smaller resonator.

No problem at all, hope ya get it figured out.

On those J pipes, I think it's Solo that offers those.
Also, don't be shocked when you mention J pipes and the guy looks at you with the deer in the headlights look. I stopped at a "professional" exhaust shop last fall, to see if I could stumble on someone to help me with that Roush. After I viewed the guys crappy pipe bends, and heard how the system sounded he wanted to put on my 5.0, it was a chivvy pickup he demonstrated on, I thought, no, this guy is BS. He also mentioned how he knew how to eliminate drone, but wouldn't tell me how. I said, "Oh, you know about J pipes?" The look on his face was priceless. I then went elsewhere.LOL

Oh, BTW, I'd be very interested in finding out more about the J pipes. My problem was, I didn't have the time, or it seemed like no one was interested in working with me on that. Trying to get anything done on Saturday up here, is next to impossible.
If you go that route, please keep me informed. I might be able to do something on my other truck with that idea.

Flowmaster offers a couple of 3.00" in/ 3.00" out resonator options that might be helpful to you. Here is a link: Flowmaster Resonators

Let me know if you have any other questions. Good luck!

Maybe put a Flowmaster 1 chamber muffler in as a resonator.

Default Which Size Solo Resonator for use with a Roush Off Road exhaust

Hi guys,

New here. I just Installed a roush off road exhaust system on my f150 colt. I love the sound, but as many have said, the drone around 2000 rpm is giving me a headache. Someone suggested adding a resonator. Does anyone know which size Solo resonator would fit my system?
