I just bought my tires a month or so ago but when I was deciding I was between these: BFG A/T KOs, Nitto Terra Grapplers g2, Toyo Open Country at2, Cooper sts maxx, and if you're willing to pay a bit more Mickey Thompson Baja atz.

I have the Toyo AT2 currently. They have over 50k miles on them. I would buy them again. Very quiet for an AT.. Very good tire wear. They started losing some wet traction around 45k miles though. Still have a lot of tread left. I will easily get 60k miles out of them
I put some of the BFG KO2s on my daughters FJ and I really like them. They are a lot better than the old version. Quiet ride as well.
It will be a hard choice for me when I buy new again.
BTW... I had a set of Mickey Thompson ATZs and they howled like a lone wolf. Hated those tires. Compared to the ones I just mentioned they were crap.

Put Goodyear A/T's with Kevlar on mine. I don't haul that much so I didn't need an E-Rated tire. Since I put a lot of mile on each year, I didn't want to increase tire weight. In changing wheels and tires, I actually lost about 2 lbs per tire/wheel combo. After a little over 20,000 miles I am definitely satisfied and tires aren't showing any signs of wear.
