Default All the new trucks do that!!!!!!?????? ( Ford Dist. Service Rep.)

Had my 2012 Platinum Screw short 4X 5.0 373's one year now and I have had a problem with the lube in the Electronic rack getting a rattle in it when temperatures get above 90 degrees. The higher the temp the worse it gets? When I was told that I spent 50+ $$$ and all the trucks do that. I had to back off and STFU or I would felling like having one of my workers drive around dealer with a giant tent sign letting others know, I cant be the only one in my area? Also I am lucky to get 13 MPG city with everyday driving my 2012 got 14-15, with a 5.4. What the heck do you do when no one listens? higher attorneys??? All I ask for is what I payed for I don't think that's a lot to ask for? JIM D

Try a different dealer or talk to the service manager. Could also talk to Ashley the Ford rep here on the forum.

That's not normal, or they all would do that. Mine doesn't. Tell the dealer to show you a new truck on the lot that does this. He won't be able to.

As for mileage, I get 17 in the city. 2012 SCrew with the 5.0. However, the first couple tanks were lower.

And, it's not normal. I hate it when they say that. Good luck.
