That's cool. Too bad they are only offering it on the 3.7. Would be cool on the 5.0! You can get more power out of CNG, because it's 115 Octane equivalent, which would allow you to really advance timing, , and you get better mileage to boot, because it's as efficient a fuel as you can get.

we can't put a dangerous commodity next to an engine it has to be the second car in a train but its okay to put a tank full of fuel between two locomotives
Our locomotives
engines BN tested years ago
the only reason they are considering doing it is because it is cheaper

Whichever company gets there first will have a big advantage over the competition for a while. Then like everything else we buy the price of natural gas will be dictated be Wall Street and shoot up thus making people not do the conversion because it will take too long to justify it.
Where do you fill up? Anywhere that fills natural gas? I haven't seen anything around here capable of doing that.

Who did your CNG retrofit? If you don't mind how much did it run you? How many miles do you get to your tank of CNG?

It Stinks in Here...
Four or five years ago I saw a F150 that was modified to run on LP. I don't remember much about it other then it had like a 40 gal tank in the bed and it had Roush stickers on it. It was part of a display that the National Propane Assoc. (or something like that) had set up to show some uses of LP. It was at the Farm Science Review in Ohio.
