Default Alignment when?

My truck is at 60 000 kms. Never had an alignment done on it yet.
Should I get one done even though it drives perfectly straight?

There are 5 reasons for getting an alignment.

1) Tires wearing uneven.
2) Drifting/wandering or pulling.
3) Suspension/steering component replacement.
4) Steering wheel off center.
5) Suspension modification ie: level/lift mods.

No other reason.

If you have no uneven tire wear and made no changes to the suspension like a lift or a level then you don't need an alignment.

Lol didn't see Rnlcomp's post....what he said.

I sell tires, but my company doesn't do alignments so I get this question a lot and what he just said is the best explanation.

If you go to a place like Firestone I've heard they will tell you every 6 months get an alignment. But there really isn't any reason to if it's NOT out of alignment.

I got an alignment 4 years ago when I changed my tires and haven't had one since. Tires wore completely even across.

If your front end is tight, u haven't changed tires, or suspension, and truck drives straight, you should be okay. But I would probably get an alignment check attract if you have had new tires installed

If your old tires wore even, the alignment is good. New tires do not demand an alignment.
The tire shops that also do alignments will always try to sell you an alignment to protect your new investment.
Refer to Rnlcomp post.
