Yeah if you like running border line on that right front wheel, it's .1 degree from being out and with my ocd I would not have that at all, I want my specs dead on. The caster is perfect side to side. That -0.9 camber not going to happen when I do an alignment for my customers or my self.

EDIT: I see in that 2nd pic they adjusted the camber to dead on specs, so they either had enough play to bump it up or you already have the cams, did you buy it new or used?

Many Raptor owners do the same thing as it prevents movement when jostling or impacts. Also a good idea due to potholes. cheap insurance.

As far as "needing it" probably not. however when lifted it puts additional stress on the LCA making it much harder to get into spec if it gets out. the cammed bolts or nuts (depending on the kit) allows for leverage to get them back aligned. Just a thought, I wouldn't discount it that easily. I was told by meineke that I was aligned, but was all jacked still.. all they did was toe while caster and camber is still out. Got the kit and took it to another place and got it done correctly.

Do you happen to still have the part number you used and how many it took? I'm finding differing quantities; some say you only need one kit, others say you need two kits. I'm guessing it depends on which kit you buy, but I'm about to order the Boss Ulitmate kit and wanted to get some of these to help with alignment.

EDIT: Just found my answer in a post from you in another thread >> https://www.f150forum.com/f38/adjust...0/#post4048446.

good work on searching. and yes you need 2 kits. each kit has 2 plates/nuts, and you need 4 total. Well.... you don't need 4, but highly suggested to use them on all 4 LCA bolts instead of just 2. so yes, buy two kits.

All you guys bashing these techs and saying it only needs a toe set need to realize not every truck has the same alignment specs from factory. Also consider each persons driving conditions are different. Your specs could have been out from hitting pot hole before you even had the leveling kit installed and now everything is out of whack. You should be educating yourselves on how to read an alignment sheet that way if a tech tells you that a camber kit is required you can read the print out and decide for yourself.

My 2¢.

the thing is that the alignment tech told me that it needs the kit before he even took a look at anything. he said its "based on experience from doing alignments on lifted trucks" and after that he quoted me $300 parts and labor + alignment ($60) to do it. if thats not sketchy then idk what it is. im gonna try other shops and see what they say..
