you know what i think would be a great idea...

if we have a meet where guys do mods for other guys on their trucks.

for instance,

I've considered the locking tailgate mod, but i don't know anything about it and it kinda intimidates me. so, if someone said "it's only cost me $25 to do that mod" i could say hey man, put me down for that mod and i'll bring the $25 for you if you bring the parts n tools"

but knowing me, i'd toss in an additional $5 for labor, which i'm guessing the guy would put towards a meal if we're at a restaurant, or gas if we're all camping.

i think it would be a great experience if guys were able to teach guys how to do the mods by watching the experienced guys do them.

for instance man; when i showed you my USB2 mod, had i had the 7mm wrench on me, i'd have just said to you "i paid almost $35 for the cable, hand me $40 here and now, i'll install it in your truck, without my usb stick tho" if you said yes, i'd have gotten to work right away.

then, you're sporting the USB2 when you go home. you'll have a super great experience from the meets when you're able to come away with more than you showed up. and teaching people also makes great experiences for people.

"i love to teach people what I've learned. it sticks in my head better when i get to show someone what I've learned" :me

Not yet, I checked out Princess Auto yesterday but they didn't have any actuators in stock - the rain didn't help as my garage is too small to work on the truck comfortably in - lol, so next decent day outside - maybe.

I know I got one correct.

Hopefully the waitress steps back for a better shot next time. Especially considering there will be 15 people in the shot.

Yup. That's the best way. And it was a really nice time. Boston Pizza is a place where everyone can afford the food, it's an atmosphere that's accommodating to groups, and they have stuff most everyone can.enjoy.
