Default air intake and exhaust modification

Hi there,

I have a 2014 Lariat 3.5L V6 ecoboost, I have been thinking about getting a S&B air intake system and CORSA exhaust system installed. I am considering it for a balance of performance and fuel efficiency improvement. What is your opinion?

Thank for your time

It may be different on a forced induction application, but on N/A motors, these mods DO improve mileage & performance, but it's nothing "life changing". At least, not in my case. Don't let that stop you from modding tho

Unless someone proves me wrong with dyno and fuel mileage results of changing those 2 items, ill maintain the majority belief that nothing is measurably gained other than a lighter wallet and different noises under throttle.

Its all about the TUNES.

Waste of money really. The stock intake is pretty good. Swapping out the exhaust will only gain you sound differences.

Sort of true, just a muffler or an entire exhaust system will only do so much unless you add on headers. No need to change the cats because they're high flow rated. Also a cold sir intake won't do much more than the stock intake because it's already designed for high flow.
