Air conditioning smells like Cow Manure

I used lysol but i sprayed it into the fresh air inlet instead. Seems to be a yearly thing to have to do. I've heard that if you turn your ac off several minutes before parking that it helps with this not happening, that's what i try to do. It helps with not having moisture collect in the air ducts therefore this not occurring.
We saw a lot of dead batteries as a result so Ford nixed the fix LOL.

I want to add that it may help if you snake the drain tube carefully and slowly.
I had that smell equal to the worst on here.
Along with the cleaner "Supposedly" made to kill the mold or whatever is going on in there.
It's been two years and not even a whiff. I'm only saying this as an option, because I had success.

On my 13 it was real hard to see on the fire wall passenger side behind the valve cover. Its real short.
Passenger side foot area, turn on ac and just spray, it will get sucked up in and you will smell it coming out of the vents.

I finally followed the Lysol advice and mine has been odor free for a week. But my drain has never drained anything that I've seen. Really need to try to clean it out.
