Default Air bag control module location

Can anyone confirm that this is indeed the airbag module?

Getting it reset, had to remove it to send it in, I think it's $30 plus a pretensioner That I need to replace on the actual seatbelt assembly. Much cheaper than a new unit that's for sure.

Do you know where that is in a 2003 F150?

Default Airbag Controlller, when to replace & where

Hello; Just rebuilt my 2009 F-150 after it was totaled last year due blond root hairs, a cell phone and bad judgement.

I've installed a new airbag deployment sensor (some kind of small accellerometer or such) forward (behind grill) and drivers side air bag.

I've located the controller under the center console as well as fuse No. 31 in passenger foot well.

Airbag deployed indicator light still indicates.

Does one need to renew the controller as well? Or I believe that I heard that one might be able to send it somewhere to have it 'reset'

Any information or advise would be appreciated.

Thank you Mark

Hey Kev, Did anybody respond to your post? I have a 2003 F150 XL 4.6L (work truck) and I cant find the Airbag diagnostic module or the SRS. The link to https://www.f150forum.com/f6/air-bag...cation-469053/. gives a good picture of where its "suppose to be", but is not there.... But from what I can see, it never there because there are no "empty" connections heading towards that area.
