Aftermarket reverse camera screen recommendations?

I have a 2010 F-150 SCAB with the early SYNC system. I want to add a reverse camera and am looking for ideas of what kind of screen I can add. The rear-view mirror has the microphone for the Bluetooth phone so I don't think I want to replace it. Looking for options for adding a screen. Where did you mount yours and what did you get.

Hopkins smart hitch. Super easy to install. Mine is 4 years old and works great.

I changed stereo's. It came with the ability to add 2 camera's including the oem one. 9" wide screen sure beats that dinky little view from the rear view mirror.

That Hopkins kit is slick. I have a 2014 and wanted to add a reverse camera but stock options to add on are crazy expensive.

Is that Hopkins kit the one with the screen that you can mount inside the cubby hole to the left of the radio (the one for the trailer brake control on some trucks)?

I would stick with an oem RVD mirror. Find one on ebay and you could add the video wires to the existing harness or buy this harness from infotainment. It should be plug and play.
You could also buy the camera kit from camera-source. All in around 500.00 for a factory look and you retain sync if you buy the correct mirror.

I like and would like the factory oem look, but $500 is a lot.

I have a brake controller so I mounted it up by my rear view mirror. If you have a 6.5 bed and a crew cab. You will need the extension cable. Just call Hopkins and they will send it free of charge

The Hopkins smart hitch sounds awesome. I'm also not interested in investing $500 in to my 8 year old 98,000 mile truck but this kit would be perfect and could be moved if I ever get a newer truck. I have the towing brakes so can't mount it in the dash but the screen next to the mirror would be fine.
