I use my Verizon Iphone 4s w/my SYNC and it's great. I usually use bluetooth so I can pick the song easier.

Been lurking for a few months, thought I would finally register and post up. I really dislike metra products, never had any luck with them...(not fitting, falling apart, etc) I bought the scosche kit and then used the 3m Di-noc vinyl wrap in brushed titanium. The cool thing is it actually has the brushed texture. Super easy to install, and fairly inexpensive.

edit: head unit is Kenwood DNX7180 w/nav, bluetooth, ipod control, my fav pandora, and a bunch of other stuff I don't use...

Thanks, I have had a hard time matching the "Stone" interior...it is like a grey with a brown/tan tint (or brown/tan with a grey tint) The brushed Titanium has a similar tint and is actually a great match.

Finding floor mats has sucked, I bought some tan ones and they don't match, nor do grey ones lol.

Default How do you keep the display up top with aftermarket nav?

Can someone please help me?? How do you keep the display above the aftermarket nav? The tempurtture and compass and the "built ford tough" sign? Every place i go to get one installed says this will dissappear if they install an aftermarket nav. Please email me and let me know id really appreciate it. Also does it matter if you have sync on this? I dont have sync.

Heres mine, Soche center plate cover in carbon fiber sticker. Side peices painted white.

I have the PAC adapter and AWSC for steering wheel which is much better, I'll never use PAC again but now with the my touch in the new trucks ill never buy a truck without nav.

I have the Pioneer AVIV 130BT, its a good nav, it gets me around new cities better than the handheld garmin does.

Can someone please tell me what I need to install a Double Din nav/gps but keep the ford display above the unit. The display with the compass and tempurature and "built ford tough" sign?

You just buy a new face plate kit for the HU. The upper display stays in place during the install.

When you get the new plate in, you just tranfer over your HVAC controls to the new one and put that on instead.

You will only see "built ford tough" though in the display with and after market but you will still see temp and compass.

how's your 130bt for voice recognition calling? I have both the 110bt and 120bt in two diffrent cars, and it sucks. I found that IF i remote start either car and i dont hit the "i agree" security screen before the phone acutally connects to the unit that it doesnt understand any verbal command BUT if i can hit that i agree button before hte phone connect...then the voice control works perfect. This seems to be the only issue i have with the Pioneer units....
