Default after market tanny coming soon?

with all this shifting problems and what not how long until someone makes a upgrade tanny ? anyone hear anything? my truck works fine but would love a stronger one to be sure nothing gonna go wrong!

That is an interesting idea, but the cost it would take to create a new transmission with a bell housing that fits just like Ford's, matches the lineup of engines, and responds to the vehicle requests via the CANBUS network, almost off of which is trade secret info, will be cost prohibitive. Then the design would have to be redone every year, and maybe even done when jobs (job 1, job 2) change.

Hate to be a downer, and it is a cool idea though.

what shifting problems? normal shifting issues are typically solved by PCM changes and TSBs. Why buy an aftermarket transmission when a tune will fix the issue?
