After lead frame changeout

I recently replaced my molded lead frame on 2011 f150 5.0 fx4. Since replacement, I cant get the temp to transmission under control. Temp range exceeds 250° +. I didn't have a thermostatic bypass valve so I'm guessing it is inline on cooling lines. I have checked trans fluid Mercon V while at temp (195°)and running. I also have a hard shift from 1st to second gear. Any ideas?

You replaced, or you paid someone to replace?

I mis-typed. I used Motorcraft mercon lv. I did change out the lead frame myself.

I think that valve is located above the valve body in the 6r80 transmission. Not sure if that's your problem.
