It sounds good. I think I paid around 220.00 for mine. I also put a programmer on my truck as well.

It was right around $422.00 with the super scoop, such engine is this for. S&B only offers an intake for the 5.4, nothing new yet.

X 2 on the S&B

I recently got my S&B and love it!

S&B took their time putting their product on the market unlike others who just pushed out something to sell.
I had a K&N on my truck at first and it gave a lil more umph but was a tad loud. Then went back to stock and tried the Gotts mod... noticed nothing. Then recently purchased a S&B CAI and couldn't be happier. It has all the umph without all the noise. Sounds great with my MBRP exhaust.

Yes it is the oil free option, you can get them oiled. You just need to blow it out on occasion
I chose the oil free which is supposed to last 30k miles plus I got it for a lil better deal than the oiled. when it comes time to clean I will just replace it. For me 30k will likely take me about 4 years to accomplish.

As for the air flow between the two there is not much difference.

So it's a paper filter not reusable?
