Advance Trac - Power Steering - Warranty?
Hi all!
Hope somebody can help me out here .... truck is 2012 with 45k miles.
First the advance trac light was on, next thing I got a "Service Advance Trac" warning on the dash. Then, some noise from under the engine, and a "power steering failure" warning.
Now, since yesterday and about 300 miles, all seems good with no issues.
I am about to drop the truck off at a dealer, trying to figure out what to expect. Is this a known issue, and will something like this be covered under the 60 months power train warranty? Any TSBs related to these symptoms?
Thanks a lot for any help!

Called two dealers yesterday, both advised me to not bring in the truck unless at least one of the warnings is on and active. Now that's a bit disturbing, as we have a longer camping trip coming up in a few weeks, towing the travel trailer. I would prefer to not have a break down during that trip.
Dealers say they will charge $120 diagnosis charge, but most likely won't find anything if the lights and warnings are off and everything is working properly.
Does this make sense?
