2" drop from headlight center @ 25' Rule of thumb, and used at any state/provincial inspection station when a headlight aiming tool isn't avail.

When I put a 4" lift on my truck I definitely had to adjust them down, was shining inside passenger compartments of mid size vehicles, with them adjusted using the method I posted above, my beams barely reach the trunk lids or hatchbacks before the glass begins.

Just for the record, if your driving a Miata your SOL in any event.
