adhesive advice

I am driving a 2009 F 150, the Ford button/logo on the tailgate is loose. What should I use for adhesive to re-attach?

3M double-sided tape should do the trick. Remove emblem. Remove old tape and residue. Apply new tape and reinstall.

after applying 3 m do you seal around the button with anything?

Nah. 3M alone will be fine. Clean all surfaces thoroughly with isopropyl alcohol prior to applying the tape.

Id just do around the perimeter, and down the center.... Done.
