Adding Remote Start to a '12 without it..
Anybody know what it would take to add Factory remote start to my 2012 XLT that does NOT have it currently?
hardware needed..
guesstimate cost.. (assuming I have Ford install)

There are 2 oem systems and they are both plug and play. One is cheaper and has limited distance and the other has better distance and incorporates an alarm. Both need to be turned on in the ids after installed. Best price is from Beau at Rogel Ford.

I did it myself, just had the dealer activate it. That cost a additional 45.00. I got the 100 series, you find them cheapest on ebay.
