Is that a ford/OEM part or is it aftermarket? $42.00 sounds good since tasca is selling it for $72. What is your local supplier that you got it from?

I have to order the "Black/chrome" one to match, but for the driver's side, is it considered the left, or right?

Drivers side = left side.

Does anyone know where I can find instructions to swap out the handle with a keyless entry one? How hard is it?

Also will the 09 part from Tasca work for the 2010 F150 Screw? They don't seem to have one for the 2010 listed.

the harness is located in the door panel and is connected to nothing. when you open it, you can't miss it. my brother, a ford mechanic, swapped mine. i make him because he's my brother and i am older. the harness is held down with a plastick clip about 4" under the door handle. it is very simple to install. i think there were 4 screws holding the actual handle after you remove the door panel. search the "how to" section for removing the door handle. like i said, you remove, replace, and program. that's it.

its true, ford makes a 3m remote keypad. i like oem better. the 3m keypad is for people who were not given codes. i would have took pics, but i had a badarse earache that day and felt like you know what. let me know if you have any other questions. oh yeah, took about 45 minutes to do. programming was fairly simple.

Let me get this strait - if I do NOT have that card with the code on it, does that mean the on-board CPU is not programmed for the keypad feature? I pulled the door panel off and found the harness and plug in the driver's door so I'd assume it's ready to go. Note - I had the truck at Ford yesterday having a key programmed. The Ford tech tried to pull the keypad code from the truck, but it came up with a bunch of errors. Is it safe to say the truck has to be programmed for it? Also, if the tech at Ford cannot pull the keypad code from the CPU, where would I find the code?

I have a door handle from my 2007 SCrew - I replaced the buckets with painted Mark LT handles so I had a full set of handles sitting in a box in my warehouse...but this door handle doesn't lock the doors when I plug into the harness and hit the 7/8 and 9/0 numbers together (which should lock the doors).

Is it useless?

I went to go buy this part the other day now I can't find it. Anyone know where I can buy the door handle or the part number?

Go to the website above. On the left side click on "Left Door", "Lock & Handle", "Keyless Lock Pad".

The website has been updated, not sure why the left side options don't update either.
