Default ? Adding a backup camera

I have a 2010 F150 XLT, and I am thinking of adding a backup camera. Can someone tell me how the connection is made to the tailgate, given the taligate can be removed?

Thanks!

Are you getting a factory type or aftermarket...

This is what I think I will be using for a backup camera. The Boyo-Vision unit will plug into my Garmin 5000 GPS.

There are several cameras that mount on the license plate bracket. Putting one in the tailgate might be an ordeal.

I like the looks of that camer! I would have to come up with a monitor solution. I would want a mirroe monitor I think. My truck does't have the NAV package.

There are camera/monitor combinations available.
