Anyone recommend a certain brand for a good AAL? Along with prices would be helpful.

I can't recommend them as I've never used them but I like the fact these guys sell full length add a leafs built specifically for our trucks with different weight capacities. They also build them to order here in the USA. If I was going to order one today I would give them a call. Price 129.99-149.99 depending on weight rating.

I've just installed pro comps AAL in my 13 scab and it produced 2" lift. Had to install a wedge to correct pinion angle but very happy with net result. About $145 including the 2.5 degree wedge. Bought it for weight bearing not height. Ride is stiffer and stock shocks will probably need replacing right away.

I've got an Autospring and it rides nice and gave me about 2" of lift. It does have surface rust from the salt though.

Marked for future interest. What lift do most AAL give in the rear? I really like these vehicle specific ones.

I just ordered a set of 998lb AAL from General Spring this morning. I called them before ordering and they were very helpful. I was told that, although they were designed for load bearing not necessarily for lift, they will add ~1.5" of lift. Ride quality should not be affected that much. You will need at least 1/2" of thread on the existing U-bolts to install them, otherwise you will need new U-bolts, which they build to order and have measuring guidelines. I chose them because they were patient and answered my questions, are made to order and seem to come with a few extras- center bolts, kwik clips, and tip inserts- that others didn't. The guy I spoke to said it was a slower day today so they should get them built today and ship tomorrow- ETA next week on or about Wed.- total price $170.

I'll provide a review once I install them and maybe even an install review/write up if I am motivated enough.

Just got an email that my order has shipped- that was quick!
