Default Actuall thickness of leveling kit spacer?

I am looking at a leveling kit a guy has for sale and he isn't sure how much of a level it is. I know I read somewhere that becasue of the geometry of the front end the spacer actually measures different than it actually raises the truck. Wondered if anyone could get an actual measurement of the spacer thickness of a 1.5" and 2" lift kit? Thanks in advance!

Please someone correct me if I am wrong, but the measurement refers to the actual thickness of the spacer itself. You may get more or less lift out of it but a "2" leveling kit" has a 2" spacer in it. Maybe someone else can chime in as to how it effects the height if the truck

I just leveled mine. I measured... Needed 2.5 kit. The 2.5" kit spacers actually measured 1.5" in thickness, but brought the truck up the 2.5 as desired.

As another example, the Daystar 1" kit measures 1" in thickness. And raise me up more than 1"

Roughly what did it raise the truck?

I think somewhere between 1.5" and 2". I didn't measure too accurately as my goal was not necessarily to "level" the truck, as it was just to make room for my tires.

If you do a search alot of other people have done measurements on the Daystar 1" kit. It's pretty popular.

From what i have read on the daystar 1" spacer it is going to give u 1.5-1.75" of actual lift. Most kits are called what amount of lift they give, but not in the case of the 1" daystar. After u get it installed and drive it some to settle please let us know your results.
