Default actual mpg?!

I bought a 2012 fx2 5.0. First thing I did was straight pipe it cat back And put 24's wrapped with 305/35r24s. Lowered the rear 2 inches to level it out. Says I get 18.5mpg on moderate hills and level grounds Traveling an indicated 56 mph. What's my actual numbers?

there's a 1% difference in OD between stock and your new size. In other words, the lie-o-meter would be just about as accurate as it was stock...
18mpg at 56mph sounds about right...

^^^would still have to calculate the change in tire height to get "real" miles driven.

Default actual mpg?!

There is no way to get a 100% accurate reading. Pumps shut off at different times, pump calibrations have slight variances and so on. The computer does a good job at getting close to actual mpg.

Default actual mpg?!

What were you getting before? My '11 fx2 with 3.73 and 18" factory tires gets 23-24 with 56k on the clock. Use to get 20-21 but after the dealer replaced the O2 sensors it jumped a bit.

Default actual mpg?!

Thought I had pics of my mpg but can't see them showing up. I wouldn't think your rims/tires would hurt it that bad. Of course I don't know your definition of hills either. I drive from western Missouri to eastern Kansas
