I've been searching around for awhile now and this thread seems similar to an issue I'm experiencing with my 2012 FX2 supercrew. It has the 5.0V8, 5.5 box, and 3.55 ELD. I only notice a vibration after it shifts from 1-2 under normal-slow acceleration. No vibration at any other acceleration point. If I go WOT with it from a stop or roll and let it run out 1st and shift into 2nd there is no vibration. It does not matter if I am driving it empty or with a trailer or load in the bed.

I plan on taking it in to have this addressed but so far it does not seem like there is a certain fix for this issue so it concerns me that they would just start tearing things apart and trying different things with not resolving the issue at the end of the day.

No. You do not have the shudder this thread is addressing. Read post #1 for a description of the acceleration shudder.

This shudder ^^ is because of the transmission.

So 40K km on truck out of basic warranty, had the "axle wrap " vibe .. let it go ... finally the center bearing let go

undrivable

free tow to dealer

replaced center bearing and new drive shaft under the drivetrain warranty

2010 screw 6.5 box

I am on vacation 2013 screw 157 4x4 only 2100 miles and made it all the way down to Gatlinburg, TN and I got a shutter as soon as I slowed from driving down I65 and I 75. The good thing was I was driving between 60 and 77 and I got 23 mpg. Now that I have it unloaded it doesn't shutter much if any.

I am going to install the 1" bump stops (http://www.ebay.com/itm/150962143710...84.m1423.l2649 ) to help with the "axle wrap" I tow a 5th wheel with mine about 15 times a year ( average 800kms per trip )
