AC Talk are there any Ford Service Guys

My 2010's a/c sucks as well, I have to run it on max fan with max a/c, if I turn the fan speed down even to 3 the truck heats up instantly.
My 2011 jk would fog up the windows in minutes without max a/c and the fan on a lowish speed.

Appears to be an F150 issue, because as I have said my wife's Edge and my sons Explorer will freeze you out!

I should mention that I own hp tuners software. If this Ford is like the gm trucks I have tuned I can modify the a/c parameters including cycle times and pressures. I will take a look at the tables and see what I can do.

I can take it in to have it checked, but my issue is all of the Ford service departments in my area are horrible. Every time I take my truck in the break something on it or half-*** the work. The harnesses under my front seat are held together with zipties because a tech broke the connectors and wouldn't replace them. His fix was to use zipties.

If I were in your shoes I would contact Crystal at this point!

Are the trim pieces on backorder? What's your truck's model year/mileage? I want to do what I can to help.

I will also confirm that my AC isn't near as cold as what my previous vehicles were. As well, my cooled seats don't really seem to cool all that well. They work better when the windows are closed obviously but even then it's barely noticeable on long trips. Almost like it's stuck on the lowest cold setting...
Very disappointing in a 2013 model vehicle to say the least...
With all of the complaints I'm hearing about this and other common issues, I'm beginning to lose confidence in Ford. It's pretty sad when people have to trade in because their new 30k+ truck doesn't have a decent AC system.

I started a topic on the AC a couple weeks ago about this same thing. My 13 Lariat has an AC that I'm not overly impressed with. I had it checked at the dealer and the charge was fine. Their advice was to turn the MAX on as soon as I start it.

I wonder what kind of "feedback" service advisors are allowed to give, or are solicited for and/or attempt to give to Ford?
But in this economy, I am sure there are those that value their job so they remain silent at the dealer level.
At this point and based on my other Fords, I would never have thought to check out the Ac on this new truck prior to purchasing. Lesson learned!
