Moral of all this BS..
-Yes they catch oil
-no they aren't necessary
-no they aren't miracle engine savers

But, the RX can guy- Audi engines are solo familiar to ford motors... good waste of space there sir
They are necessary for my application. The unburnt fuel I smell with each ounce I collect makes it worth it 100%. And all this drama and nonsense in these saga-threads makes me even more happy than I already was that I don't have an EB.

I guess I'm missing something. If you are on the up and up, what harm is there in letting him know who you are? Especially true if you are wanting to pay with a personal check on delivery.

I just don't see what the big deal is about telling him your company. Anytime I've done business with a vendor or supplier in the past, I've always identified myself and my company when I place the initial call or contact. It's standard business practice.

I'm the OP on this thread and, while I'm still not 100% convinced I need one or don't need one - I can honestly say I'm much more educated on the subject than I was before I posted.

Mods - feel free to close this post down. Thanks & thanks to everyone who weighed in.
