Default About to pull the trigger on 295/70R18's

As mentioned above I'm about to order some 295/70R18 NITTO Terra Grappler G2's. I'll probably order them tomorrow but have a couple more questions.
Can you all ease my mind that I'll have no problem clearing them with just my 2" Hell Bent Level? I think I'll be fine since my 275/70's look tiny and several people on here seem to have no problem running them with just the 2" levels.

Also, should I be concerned with them rubbing my UCA's when mounted on my stock FX4 wheels?

And finally I've gathered that without a tuner to calibrate the larger size my speedometer will be off by about 3-5 mph slower than what I'm really doing, sound about right? For example speedometer reads 70 mph, but really doing 73-75.

I appreciate any and all input and photos if you have them. I've been around and around looking for tires and what would be practical yet work for the look I want.

Thanks,
Mudweiser

I can't see that size rubbing on the UCA's on stock rims. I think you will be close!
Hope this helps. I ran this size on my 04 but i had 0 offset.

The tire fitment guide in the sticky section says they should fit. Some report slight rubbing on a mud flap.

Thanks for the input, I've done some searching but get annoyed after searching through several hundred pages. I know many people are running 2" levels with 315/70R17 with no problem, so I figured since the size difference is less than a quarter inch difference in height, there should be no issue. I'm just a little worried about rubbing the UCA.

It's not the height that causes the rubbing on the uca, it's the width. On stock rims the tire is close to the spindle and uca, but I run 295/70/17 on stock rims and they clear with about 1/4" of clearance. 315/70/17 on stock rims rub on some tires, some just barely clear. As tire manufactures a 315/70/17 are not equal. This applies to 18" rims/tires as well.

Anyhow 295's on stock rims will clear the uca. But you may hit the front valence/mud flaps/rocker panel.

295/70 18 trail grapplers on 2" level. 7,000 miles so far and absolutely no rub anywhere.

The 295 trail Grappler's are 11.73" wide were as the Terra grappler G2's are 11.77" wide. With people saying the space between the sidewall and the UCA being 3-4-5mm when running the trail Grappler's. Should I be concerned that the G2's are not going to clear?

Truck feel significantly more sluggish with those lift and tires? How bad of a MPG hit was there?
