Just installed some Anzo tail lights on my truck. Ordered these from Amazon for reverse lights. For the brief second I was able to check them out, they seem pretty good.

I'm tempted to try these as well.

Go 'Noles!

Welp, thanks for making me spend more money guys! I have the Recon tails on my 2014 FX4. I just order those Morimotos from TRS. $28 shipped for the pair. I can report back once I have them installed w/ pics.

I don't have those 1550s. I currently have the jdm astar 800's which are a night and day difference from stock.
If I had the money and time I would gladly get a set of those 1550's and the DD's and test them against each other with output pics. Even if my bulbs have false ratings I'm still satisfied that I have a $20 set of bulbs that appear to be 3+x brighter than stock and actually enable me to see thru tinted glass at night. With the stock backup bulbs its like they weren't even on.
