Got a friend that has the Helicopter folks to come out and shock him and haul him off.
I asked how much it cost.
He said 34,000
Said he had no idea how hes gonna pay for it.
I know it saved his life.
And I couldn't imagine the cost of the copter, pilot and the crew on it.
Got to be super expensive. Not to mention the upkeep.

Mighty expensive trip. And no champane to drink on the way in.
When they fly in from Houston that is 4 counties away.
What does it matter what the trip cost? The nearest hospital to me is about half an hour away but they are not a trama center. So if there are any major injuries one of those "expensive trips" could make the difference between life or death. And i think all of the mercy flight and volunteers that do it for people they don't even know. And i could care less of what the cost is at that time.

Holy hell this is crazy!

The sheriff is the police and vice versa just with different titles!

You have no clue how 911 works due to your ignorant responses!

If you're so against technology then why do you have a cell phone, I mean a phone connected by a cord is by far more reliable!

Or you just might not make it by the time your 911 help gets there, it may be too late. Our Sherieff and people knows who to call that will respond the fastest to us. And who can find us the fastest.
lol, 911 knows exactly who to send and I will bet you have a fire department that responds.

How much is tinfoil these days?

Was talking about the City police and the city fire departments that are outside of where I live. The City Police do not come here

And I know the sherieff is the Police.

Never said I was against technology. Said I don't want to hear a lady reminding me that I have 911 Turned off.

Been here 20 yrs. Never seen a fire department come here.

Most people don't have numbers on their houses either.

Lol, that is a few minute trip in a helicopter!

So if you had a brain clot where you need special drugs within an hour you would tell sheriff Andy "no, don't send the helicopter it's too expensive."?

I can go anywhere in this world and know what to do,must because you live in the country doesn't make those living in the city less capable.

What? The manual is now a cheater book? I'd say posting this online before cracking the "cheater"book" is just lazy.

And yes I suggested a new ride since you're so against 21 century technology!

He's wrong, it's between $3000-6000.

Guess you can put a cost on life.

If I had a brain clot and the sheriff calls you. I will be going where ever you take me.

In a few months I will be on Medicare and my wife's insurance too.
Think between the 2 it will pay for everything.
