The $800 Question

The $800 Question
If you had about $800 to spend on upgrades, would you spend it on:
A) a more expensive cat-back system, such as the Borla Touring, Solo Mach X or Corsa
B) A cheaper but quality cat-back (MBRP T409 system) and an air intake system (Airaid 401-299)
Couple of things to consider: I'm looking for improvement in sound and performance and have already added a programmer. I still want to upgrade my wheels/tires and it's hard to hide purchases from the wife...
Is it worth the extra $$$ for option A or should I just go with B and start squirreling away money for my wheels and tires?

Whatever gets you wheels and tires first. That's the single most thing you can do to change the look of your rig and make it yours. You won't be able to stop looking at your sweet ride after that!!

I doubt 800 will cover tires, you can do a lot of mods that are excellent. Check the $50 and under mod thread. Rigids come to mind or OK LEDs, speakers, Hids etc etc etc

FWIW, I got a custom true dual with x pipe and Magnaflows exiting behind the rear wheels for under $700. I think it sounds better than any packaged system. Saved me enough to get my tuner from MPT. I'm just waiting on Mike to send me my tunes. Should have them in my email when I get back from my business trip later in the week.

Well, tires and wheels would definitely get noticed by the wife, lol. I'll have the opportunity to do those later this year (with her okay) when my employment contract is settled.
Therefor, the question remains: A or B?

Save the $800 and put it towards reinstating your MAN CARD! Testiticular transplants are inexpensive also. I jest, but here's a tip. Check your tracking number. The night before your purchase is scheduled to arrive, take her out. She can't bitch about truck money when she has no problem spending money on going out.
Alright, someone give me some advice based on either A or B.
