Use the =/- to lock out 6th and 5th when your in town if you want that old 4 speed feel.

I got 12mpg for the first 6k miles of owning my EB, it was almost all city miles and even worse short trips. The engine just spends all your gas getting to temp and then you are home.

From my experience if you do short trips in your truck it will always sit at 12mpg no matter whose grandparents are driving.

That pretty much sums up my drive. I take a bus into town so the park-n-ride is only 7 miles so my engine is only about warmed up. Thanks. I love the truck and my dodge only got 12 so I am not really upset about it since this is 100x the truck I used to have.

I like the fact it shifts into 6th so early. I figured out that 45 mph in 6th gets the best mpg. I set the cruise to 45 mph (speed limit is 40 all the way to work) and I get just over 21 mpg. This is not a flat drive either. Up and down long grades the whole way
