Default 60 or 65?

I really hate to start another one of these threads but I haven't been able to find the specific answer I'm looking for. I have a 13 FX4 with a 2" front strut spacer and will be keeping my stock 20" wheels. I really want to go with a 295/65/20 tire but only if it isn't going to rub anywhere. If that's the case then maybe I will go with a 60 aspect ratio. I have seen posts on other forums showing that this size will fit but I'm not sure of all the details. Any help would greatly be appreciated!

I'm grabbing me some 295.65.20 Cooper STT Pros in a few months and will have a 2.5 level and stock rims. I have a buddy near me also with a '14 STX with same setup and they do not rub. I have another friend with a '13 FX4 and 35.12.50.20 with no lift or level and those don't rub. Not sure why some rub and some don't but I'm thinking most posters on here are giving their opinion and not from real experience. Plenty of posts on here verifying with pics that that setup is totally ok. Let us know how it goes.

I had the 285/65/20 Nitto G2 put on yesterday and have a 2” level on the front, they don’t rub on mine. Now I’ve not had a boat on the back and tried it but under normal driving they haven’t. I have to turn the wheel pretty hard to back it in the garage at night (daughter’s car blocks easy entry...) With a 60 aspect, you have less side wall and less height. I prefer the bigger tire.

theres no way 35/12.50/20 will not rub on no level stock.. there’s something he’s not telling you.

I'll double check next time he's over for a beer. But here's another with 35x12.50 with no lift or level:

There's many others posted here as well. But again, I'll double check next time he's over.
